FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is gold filled jewellery?
Gold filled comprises a solid layer of gold (14ct) permanently bonded to a base metal, such as brass. By law, the minimum layer of gold for a gold filled piece must contain 5% or 1/20 the weight of the item. For comparison, the total amount of gold for a gold plated item is 0.05% of the overall weight of the product. Unlike gold plated it will not peel or flake and it can last a lifetime if taken care of properly. Gold filled is also tarnish free under normal conditions and is not affected by water and hot weather. Gold filled is a fabulous alternative to solid gold.

How do I measure my wrist?
Bracelet size is often personal choice but please be careful to take the correct measurement before ordering, especially with toggle clasps. Using a piece of ribbon or string and measuring your wrist at the wrist bone and then adding 1cm is a good gauge. I use standard measurements on my website but if you would prefer a specific size please get in touch and I will be happy to help.
